Maintaining a healthy body image

  • Before you look in the mirror, think optimistically.
  • Wear clothes you feel comfortable in.
  • Stay away from the scale
  • Make a "why I like myself" list.
  • Take the time to do nice things for your body.
  • Take risks to challenge yourself.
  • Stay active.
  • Go places you'd never go alone.
  • Stay alert and fight negative self-talk.
  • Ask for a hug when you need it.
  • Stay away from fashion magazines.
  • Remind yourself that the people who truly love you, love you for you.
  • Remind yourself that looking healthy is something positive.
